ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Harvard freshman attacker Dean Gibbons (Garden City, N.Y.) tallied five goals and collected three assists in the Crimson's two games last week. In the 8-7 loss at No. 14 Brown, Gibbons scored a team-best four goals, establishing a new career-high. Gibbons began his scoring attack with 3:54 remaining in the first to tie the game, 1-1. He scored again midway through the second to give Harvard a 3-2 leaad, and then tied the game once again, 4-4, in the third. With Harvard down 8-6 late in the fourth, Gibbons kept the upset hope alive with a tally with 11 seconds remaining in the game. Click Here for Article at www.ivyleaguesports.com
“Top 10 face-off men for 2008”
Garden City HS Graduate Justin Lynch was written up in a article from Inside lacrosse magazine as being the 3 rated Face-off middie in Division 1 as a returning sophamore at University of Pennsylvania.

3. Justin Lynch (UPenn) - With the top win percentage among all returning players in Division I (.614), which he posted as just a freshman in 2007, the Quakers appear to be set at X for the next three seasons with the dependable Lynch on the draw.
