The 2012 team went 22-0 to capture the 5th New York State Championship in Garden City's illustrious history. The team was also ranked as the #1 Boy's High School team in the United States. The season included several wins over some of the top teams in the nation. The 12-11 victory over then #1 ranked Conestoga, PA at The Haverford School in April catapulted the Trojans to the # 1 ranking where they would remain for the rest of the spring season.
