May 20, 1960, Bruce Bauer ties the record with 8 goals in the 20-0 win over Whitman.
June 4, 1960, Future All-American Jim Lewis leads Uniondale to 5-2 victory in the final Metropolitan Long Island League Championship game. In its final season, the league names its two
divisions in honor of its pioneers, Jim Steen of Garden City and Jason Stranahan of Manhasset.

- Jim Glimm, Bruce Bauer, John Martin and Jim Griffith lead Trojans to a 14-2 win over Hempstead. GC finishes 8-3 and begins a winning tradition that will see only three losing seasons in the next half century.

April 30, 1958 - GC edges Massapequa, 7-6, as Dick Whitfield scores 3 goals.

April 30, 1957, Dick Whitfield scores 4 goals in the 12-3 win over Huntington.

May 29, 1953 - GC clinches the Metropolitan-L.I. League Gold Division with a 2-1 triumph over Mineola. Bernie Haebe and Ray Polley are voted M.V.P.'s.

April 26, 1952, - Tom Paisley and Art Helmus star in a 5-1 win over Peekskill Military Academy.
