April 18, 1951 - Coach Julio Silvestri makes his coaching debut with an 11-5 win over Poly Prep of Brooklyn. Don Kohart scores 4 goals.
May 28, 1951 - Tom Price scores 5 goals in a 13-1 win over Mineola. Alan Johnson wins his second straight team M.V.P. award.

May 15, 1948, - Randy Hammel ties his own record with 8 goals in a 21-1 romp over Eastern Military Academy of Connecticut. Hammel, Bill Hubbell and Jim Fanning lead the Trojans to their third Met - L.I. title. Defenseman Hubbell earned All-America honors at the University of Maryland and was the winner of the Schmeisser Cup as the nation's top defenseman in 1952. He was elected to the Metropolitan-N.Y. Hall of Fame.

April 10, 1946 -Jim Bicknell scores 5 goals as Trojans top Poly Prep, 16-2
May 3, 1946 - John Whitaker's 3 goals are the difference in a 9-7 win over Manhasset.
June 4, 1946 - Bill Fuller's outstanding play at midfield helps GC beat Manhasset, 6-1, in a playoff for the Metropolitan-L.I. League Championship. Fuller went on to become a three-time AllAmerican at Syracuse and was elected to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1981.

May 22, 1945 - The Trojans beat Sewanhaka 6-3 to clinch the Metropolitan Long Island Championship.
April 21, 1945 - Garden City travels to West Point and loses 6-3 to the Army Plebes.
